Re: Free Child Safety Awareness Training for All.
The Town of Foxborough Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Committee is once again sponsoring the Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Program called ‘Darkness to Light’. After the horrific episodes that were reported involving Foxborough children in past years with a town employee, the town of Foxborough is determined to do everything possible to make it clear that Foxborough will not tolerate this abusive behavior.
Although primarily designed to spread awareness, this training of all personnel allows the parents of these children the peace of mind that when their children are entrusted to a sports group’s care, the group has done all in its power to protect.
At the conclusion of the training, you will be issued a certificate of completion that will be good for two years. This year, the training is free to encourage full participation.
Two training sessions were held in April 2018. The Foxboro Jaycees offer the course to its members, and more sessions will be held in the community in 2020.
Your support and participation can help to give our kids a better life in the future by protecting them today. Your voice is essential in saying, as part of our community, “Never again.”
Thank you so very much!
