Easter Egg stuffing

Each spring, the Foxboro Jaycees host their free Easter Egg Hunt on Foxboro Common.

We spread between 2000 and 3000 plastic eggs on the common to be found and enjoyed by the kids – but first those eggs need to be stuffed!

So each year before the hunt we gather at a Jaycee house and start our Easter Egg assembly line.

The task is simple:

  • Enjoy laughs with Jaycee friends
  • Place a few wrapped candies in a plastic egg
  • Close the egg
  • Place it in a box
  • Repeat 2000-3000 times

Like fruit baskets, more hands mean the job gets done faster. Generally this is a task we complete in about 90 minutes – two hours and it really is a lot of fun.
