Since 2012, each Thanksgiving week, the Foxboro Jaycees are part of a special team with others in town who collaborate to say thank you to those who served and sacrificed to keep our county free. Help us focus on Foxborough veterans this Thanksgiving by making sure they know how much we appreciate their service. Your donation and efforts can help us a great deal.
We reach out to our hometown veterans to see if they would like a complimentary Thanksgiving turkey, tickets to the Foxborough-Mansfield football game and some homemade desserts. Many individuals and families look forward to delivering these packages to veterans’ homes the Saturday before Thanksgiving along with homemade thank you cards! This effort is always funded by the generosity of our residents and costs approximately $2500. We combine with the Mansfield folks and provide special end zone seating with coffee and donuts for each of our town’s veterans and their families to come together on game day in Foxborough. We are proud of our local Veterans and are excited to add this element to a morning that the Veterans have come to enjoy and look forward to. Small town feel.
We rely on our community’s generosity to make this happen so if you would like to help us make Veterans feel appreciated this year, please send along your donation to: The Friends of Foxborough Veterans, PO Box 307 Foxboro MA 02035! We would love your help to make this the best year ever.
The 2017 delivery took place Saturday November 18
