&nbsp;While posters and flyers advertising our Haunted House covered the town and newspaper ads spread the word, the website was the key destination that tied everything together.&nbsp; &nbsp;Built the hard way\u2014using hand-coded HTML and personally created graphics designed from scratch in Photoshop\u2014the site took months to create and fine-tune to be ready for October.&nbsp; &nbsp;Each season, it drew more than 10,000 visitors, proving that even in the early days of the web, a well-crafted (and slightly spooky) online presence could make a big impact.&nbsp; &nbsp;These are \u201csnapshots\u201d of what our haunted website looked like in\u2026&nbsp; Each year we had a professional videographer film construction, makeup, the shows, and the after-work meals. This footage was assembled into the official Haunted House video for that year, and screened at the Haunted House breakup party, a tradition we loved. Many of us bought the video as a souvenir.
