Gerald Rodman selected D.S.A. winner<\/p>\n<p>1965-1966 First Miss Foxboro Pageant: Renee Montague is first Miss Foxboro<\/p>\n<p>1966-1967 First State Officer from Foxboro elected, and chapter receives first of four consecutive Blue Chips (award for well rounded, healthy chapter organizations)<\/p>\n<p>1967-1968 Chapter hosts District Meeting<\/p>\n<p>1968-1969 Books are moved into new Boyden Library; Chapter awards first J.C.I. Final Pancake Breakfast (29 years!)<\/p>\n<p>2004: Final Jaycee Haunted House at Camp Lincoln Hill prior to buildings demolition<\/p>\n<p>2005: Final Haunted House at Walpole Mall<\/p>\n<p>2005-2006 Literacy Challenge with Foxboro Regional Charter School<\/p>\n<p>2006: 5th anniversary 9\/11 Memorial<\/p>\n<p>2006-2007 Haunted House in conjunction with Orpheum Theater, started book drive to Dana Farber Cancer Institute<\/p>\n<p>2007-2008 Final Foxboro Jaycees Haunted House; project ends after 19 years.<\/p>\n<p>2007-2008 First Craft\/Vendor Fair, started DVD drive for Veterans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2011-2012 10th anniversary 9\/11 Memorial<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">2010s\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2011-2012 Jaycees resurrect national Family Night Out against crime and drugs to huge success<\/p>\n<p>2014-2015 First Community holiday tree lighting<\/p>\n<p>2014-2015 Road Race Returns<\/p>\n<p>2014-2015 Jaycees swear in 24 new members and hold 84 projects &#8211; a new record!<\/p>\n<p>2015-2016: Jaycees work with town officials to create \u201cDarkness to Light\u201d Program to protect children<\/p>\n<p>2014-2015: Foxboro Jaycees web site counter reaches one quarter million unique visits<\/p>\n<p>2015-2016: Foxboro Jaycees networking meeting\/social with Foxboro Rotary and Foxboro Lions<\/p>\n<p>2016-2017: Foxboro Jaycees work with Foxboro Lions to purchase a new costume for Sparky the Fire Dog mascot<\/p>\n<p>2016-2017: Foxboro Jaycees Bylaw change established to being accepting teen associate members ages 13-17 who transition to regular members on their 18th birthday<\/p>\n<p>2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycee Web Site hits 300,000 unique visits.&nbsp; New Jaycee Website completely redesigned.&nbsp; Jaycee Instagram and Twitter Accounts launched.<\/p>\n<p>2017-2018: In response to acts of hatred across America, Foxboro Jaycees hold A night of friendship &#8211; stand united against hate 2017 with 200 attendees in a kid-friendly community event held 8\/21\/2017<\/p>\n<p>2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycees hold their first AUTUMN Vendor Fair in 2017 as the spring fair has become so popular &#8211; we continue to have SPRING and AUTUMN fairs each year.<\/p>\n<p>2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycees scholarships return<\/p>\n<p>2019-2020: Foxboro Jaycees initiate &#8220;The Stakes Are High&#8221; with thousands of flags on Foxboro Common remembering those we have lost to the opiods crisis.<\/p>\n<p>2019-2020: Foxboro Jaycees Begin &#8220;Junior Jaycees&#8221; program.<\/p>\n<p>2020: First &#8220;Kid&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s Eve&#8221; party at Booth Playground<\/p>\n<p>2020:&nbsp; The Jaycees unveiled the full repair and beautiful restoration of the Nativity set by the artistry of Rev. Brother Donald Wininski, MS of La Salette Shrine Attleboro; repair funded by the Foxboro Jaycees and Knights of Columbus.<\/p>\n<p>2020: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic Jaycees begin virtual Membership and Board meetings via zoom; Easter Bunny Drives through town while maintaining social distancing, Jaycees create inspirational signs posted around town and continue to help the community every way we can.
