1960-1961 Mansfield Jaycees extend to Foxboro, Charter presented January 18, 1961<\/p>\n

1961-1962 Jaycee Wives are formed, WISE FOX is named<\/p>\n

1962-1963 Chapter begins work on Hockey Rink, and organizes Candidates Night. Gerald Rodman selected D.S.A. winner<\/p>\n

1965-1966 First Miss Foxboro Pageant: Renee Montague is first Miss Foxboro<\/p>\n

1966-1967 First State Officer from Foxboro elected, and chapter receives first of four consecutive Blue Chips (award for well rounded, healthy chapter organizations)<\/p>\n

1967-1968 Chapter hosts District Meeting<\/p>\n

1968-1969 Books are moved into new Boyden Library; Chapter awards first J.C.I. Senatorship<\/p>\n

1970-1971 Bandstand construction begins on the Common and Tenth Anniversary celebrated<\/p>\n

1971-1972 Bandstand completed<\/p>\n

1973-1974 First Life Membership Award (runs annually for 29 years)<\/p>\n

1975-1976 First Annual Pancake Breakfast – will run for 29 years<\/p>\n

1978-1979 Foxboro Bicentennial Marathon weekend, Miss Foxboro Bicentennial<\/p>\n

1980-1981 20th Anniversary celebrated.<\/p>\n

1983-1984 Dexter Building Project at Foxboro State School<\/p>\n

1984-1985 Korean-Vietnam Memorial Donation<\/p>\n

1985-1986 Camp Lincoln Hill Dining Room Repair<\/p>\n

1986-1987 Baseball dugout repairs (Booth), Bandstand Repairs, Taylor School Playground, First Christmas Tree Sales<\/p>\n

1987-1988 Pancake Breakfast place mats begin<\/p>\n

1989-1990 First Haunted House at Payson Road, will continue at that location until 1998<\/p>\n

1991-1992 30th Anniversary Banquet<\/p>\n

1991: First two concerts on the Common <\/p>\n

1992 Foxboro Jaycees refurbish the Foxboro Common Nativity Set and take ownership of storage, care, and setting up \/ taking down each Christmas season.<\/p>\n

1992-1993 Camp Lincoln Hill Office Repair, First Foxboro Jaycees Solo Haunted House Fruit Baskets for Discretionary Fund<\/p>\n

1992: Both concerts on the Common rained out<\/p>\n

1993: First FULL season of concerts on the common with multiple shows; project continues to this day<\/p>\n

1993-1994 Road Race for Chuck McFadden<\/p>\n

1994-1995 Booth Playground Recreational Building, Road Race for Midget Football & Men\u2019s Softball League (Ernie George Field)<\/p>\n

1997-1998 Igo School Scoreboard, SFCC Tables<\/p>\n

1997-1998 Foxboro Jaycees web site launched in July 1997.<\/p>\n

1999-2000 First State President Elected<\/p>\n

1999-2000 Jaycee Haunted House Moves to Camp Lincoln Hill<\/p>\n

2000-2001 Foxboro Jaycee Build the Bill Hyland Memorial Rink, Foxboro Jaycees on the cover of the Little Green Book<\/p>\n

2001-2002 40th Anniversary Celebration, September 11 One Month Later Candlelight Vigil, Foxboro Common Sign Renovation, New Jaycee Website completely redesigned, First Mini-Haunt at Walpole Mall<\/p>\n

2002-2003 One year later September 11th Memorial<\/p>\n

2003-2004 First Doolittle Home Auction<\/p>\n

2004-2005 Electrical Common Upgrade, First team for Relay for Life. Final Pancake Breakfast (29 years!)<\/p>\n

2004: Final Jaycee Haunted House at Camp Lincoln Hill prior to buildings demolition<\/p>\n

2005: Final Haunted House at Walpole Mall<\/p>\n

2005-2006 Literacy Challenge with Foxboro Regional Charter School<\/p>\n

2006: 5th anniversary 9\/11 Memorial<\/p>\n

2006-2007 Haunted House in conjunction with Orpheum Theater, started book drive to Dana Farber Cancer Institute<\/p>\n

2007-2008 Final Foxboro Jaycees Haunted House; project ends after 19 years.<\/p>\n

2007-2008 First Craft\/Vendor Fair, started DVD drive for Veterans. <\/p>\n

2011-2012 10th anniversary 9\/11 Memorial<\/p>\n

2010s\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

2011-2012 Jaycees resurrect national Family Night Out against crime and drugs to huge success<\/p>\n

2014-2015 First Community holiday tree lighting<\/p>\n

2014-2015 Road Race Returns<\/p>\n

2014-2015 Jaycees swear in 24 new members and hold 84 projects – a new record!<\/p>\n

2015-2016: Jaycees work with town officials to create \u201cDarkness to Light\u201d Program to protect children<\/p>\n

2014-2015: Foxboro Jaycees web site counter reaches one quarter million unique visits<\/p>\n

2015-2016: Foxboro Jaycees networking meeting\/social with Foxboro Rotary and Foxboro Lions<\/p>\n

2016-2017: Foxboro Jaycees work with Foxboro Lions to purchase a new costume for Sparky the Fire Dog mascot<\/p>\n

2016-2017: Foxboro Jaycees Bylaw change established to being accepting teen associate members ages 13-17 who transition to regular members on their 18th birthday<\/p>\n

2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycee Web Site hits 300,000 unique visits.  New Jaycee Website completely redesigned.  Jaycee Instagram and Twitter Accounts launched.<\/p>\n

2017-2018: In response to acts of hatred across America, Foxboro Jaycees hold A night of friendship – stand united against hate 2017 with 200 attendees in a kid-friendly community event held 8\/21\/2017<\/p>\n

2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycees hold their first AUTUMN Vendor Fair in 2017 as the spring fair has become so popular – we continue to have SPRING and AUTUMN fairs each year.<\/p>\n

2017-2018: Foxboro Jaycees scholarships return<\/p>\n

2019-2020: Foxboro Jaycees initiate “The Stakes Are High” with thousands of flags on Foxboro Common remembering those we have lost to the opiods crisis.<\/p>\n

2019-2020: Foxboro Jaycees Begin “Junior Jaycees” program.<\/p>\n

2020: First “Kid’s New Year’s Eve” party at Booth Playground<\/p>\n

2020:  The Jaycees unveiled the full repair and beautiful restoration of the Nativity set by the artistry of Rev. Brother Donald Wininski, MS of La Salette Shrine Attleboro; repair funded by the Foxboro Jaycees and Knights of Columbus.<\/p>\n

2020: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic Jaycees begin virtual Membership and Board meetings via zoom; Easter Bunny Drives through town while maintaining social distancing, Jaycees create inspirational signs posted around town and continue to help the community every way we can. Despite many cancelations of beloved projects due to restrictions against gatherings and in the interest of public safety, the Jaycees stayed operational and presented many projects, many in different ways.<\/p>\n

2022: First Annual Jaycee Car SHOW a HUGE success<\/p>\n

2022: Post pandemic all projects resume in full including concerts full season, Founders Day, Holiday activities, Easter Egg Hunt and more!<\/p>\n

2023: Second Car Show a HUGE success, will be an annual event.  <\/p>\n
