March, 2008

The Foxboro Jaycees are excited to participate in a Reading Challenge with the Foxboro Regional Charter School.

The rules are simple and the rewards are many.  The Foxboro Jaycees are offering a Literacy Challenge to grades K-5. We are challenging you to read as many books as you can during the challenge.  Each child will be provided with a reading log to keep track of how many books they have read. The class that has read the most books will receive a pizza party.  We're also awarding $25 Gift Card to Barnes & Noble to the top reader in the following grades divided as follows...

K and 1st
2nd and 3rd
4th and 5th

The school will also benefit as a whole from this challenge. When all the logs are turned in and the books are counted the school will receive the following:

600 books read ~ $50 in books from the Foxboro Jaycees
750 books read ~ $150 in books from the Foxboro Jaycees
900 books read ~ $250 in books from the Foxboro Jaycees
over 1000 books read ~ $350 in books from the Foxboro Jaycees
