Founders Day is Saturday, June 6, 2026!
Foxborough Founders Day is Foxboro’s big birthday bash! This annual, day-long celebration brings the whole town together, with the Foxboro Jaycees front and center—from the parade to Booth Playground activities like our membership booth, glow item sales, and sizzling food on the grills.
The Founders Day parade is a colorful showcase of our community. Local nonprofits, civic groups, scouts, school and community bands, floats competing for “Most Beautiful” and “Most Original,” and parade marshals fill the streets, led by fire trucks and emergency vehicles. Special guests have included rookies and players from the New England Patriots, joining in the fun on fire trucks. Church groups, family organizations, and community volunteers proudly wave banners and flags, celebrating Foxboro’s history and spirit.
After the parade, the fun moves to Booth Field from 11 AM to 3 PM. Enjoy games, crafts, raffles, and snacks hosted by local nonprofits, plus community tables, interactive activities, and special events like a Fire Department demo, a kids’ doll carriage/wagon parade, and reunion tents for alumni meetups. Live music and DJ performances keep the energy going all afternoon.
As the day winds down, everyone gathers with blankets and chairs starting at 6:30PM and to enjoy the grand finale: a spectacular fireworks display over Booth Playground around 9 PM. It’s a perfect end to a perfect day celebrating our town!

The Foxboro Jaycees and Founders Day
Founders Day Parade March – The Jaycees (as many who like, and their family and friends) have a float in the parade and hand out candy.

Founders Day Concessions – We sell burgers, hot dogs, etc. to the masses that swarm the field during the town celebration of Founders Day. This is the Jaycees’ biggest one-day fund raiser of the year — please be generous!

Founders Day Glow Items – From glow items to Blinky toys and light-up novelties, this is where we truly make our money to help support our chapter’s community activities. Please be generous!

… and MUSIC!

Bring your friends and family to dance, sing along, and enjoy the fun leading up to the fireworks!
