Jaycees tour CMGi (Gillette) during construction

At the invitation of Darius Shirzadi, Youth Development / Sales for the New England Revolution, on February 16, 2002 about 60 Jaycees and their guests toured the new pride of Foxboro, CMGi field (later renamed Gillette Stadium).

“…Opening in 2002, CMGI Field will be a major upgrade from the Patriots and Revolution current home, Foxboro Stadium. Construction on the new stadium began in early 2000, and the Patriots plan to move into CMGI Field by the summer of 2002. CMGI Field will be a vast improvement over Foxboro Stadium.”

As a group based in — and with very strong ties to — Foxboro, we felt a special pride to take this tour of the new home of the Revolution and our Super Bowl champions, the Patriots. We had a very memorable morning.
