Each December, the Foxboro Jaycees decorate Foxboro Common with bows and wreaths, and place lights on the hedges at the foot of the Common and around the bandstand. The public is invited to help us do the decorating!
NATIVITY SET ON THE COMMON

Each December, the Foxboro Jaycees set up the Nativity Scene (created in the 1940s) on Foxboro Common, on the bandstand the Jaycees built in 1972. The Jaycees have been doing this since the late 1980s, and store the set all year, and repaint, repair, and refurbish it as necessary.

YANKEE SWAP
Was held at the General Membership Meeting at the South Foxboro Community Club Wednesday, December 8 at 7:30 P.M.
Our first IN-PERSON GM in about 20 months! This is the return of the Yankee Swap. No items over $20.
The more the merrier, but we do ask if you come and bring a gift that you also bring a mask. But you can
remove it to eat some yummy holiday cookies. Please note, there will be no zoom for this GM, but
we will return to Zoom for January.
CHRISTMAS FRUIT BASKETS
Completed Monday, December 20 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at the South Foxboro Community Center
The Jaycees gather and create 250 baskets of fresh fruit that are delivered with the Foxboro Discretionary fund food boxes to needy families. Since 2010 we have partnered with our friends from Brigham & Women’s / Mass General Health Care Center to make this possible.
CAROLING ON THE COMMON
Held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 6:00PM on Foxboro Common
The annual Foxboro Jaycees Caroling on the Common will be taking place Wednesday, Dec. 22nd at 6:00pm. We will be joined by special guest conductor, retired band director Mr. Stephen C. Massey. (Note, due to COVID safety concerns we will NOT head to Doolittle Home afterward to sing as we usually do)
We hope you can come join us!
NEW YEAR WISHING TREE

The Wishing Tree will be up and ready in December and will be waiting for your your wishes! Please place your wish for 2022 on a small card or piece of paper inside one of the ornaments and make sure to include your name. These will be collected on January 1st . Next year during the Foxboro Jaycees New Years Eve Kids Party they will be returned to you. Hope your wishes come true!! Thanks again to Parker Devine, his family, Amy LaBrache and the Jaycees!
DECORATION AND NATIVITY TAKE DOWN

After the holidays are over, the Foxboro Jaycees return to Foxboro Common to take down and store the nativity display, and take down the holiday decorations and lights and put them back into storage. Help is needed!
