6/7/2026: Foxboro Jaycees Web Site hits one half-million visits!

The Foxboro Jaycees website first launched in late 1997. When Bob G. took over as webmaster in May 1998, it had already welcomed about 1,100 visitors.

Over the years, we’ve used a few different counters; since March 7, 2005, we’ve relied on StatCounter and have worked to keep the numbers as accurate as possible.

There were a handful of small adjustments along the way, adding visits during brief periods when the counter wasn’t running, and subtracting some during testing phases when repeat reloads inflated the count.

The last correction was made in 2012, and the counter has remained unchanged since then.

While no tracking system is perfect, the big picture is clear: In the afternoon of June 7, 2026, the Foxboro Jaycees website hit an incredible milestone of 500,000 unique visits since the site began. That’s ONE HALF MILLION!

It’s a fantastic reminder of how powerful the Foxboro Jaycees website is as a tool to connect, inform, grow membership, and celebrate everything the Foxboro Jaycees do.
