Welcome!<\/strong>   
\nActive in the Foxboro community since 1961, the Foxboro Jaycees are a dynamic volunteer organization committed to strengthening our community through impactful service and development projects. We focus on creating meaningful change while helping our members build leadership, management, and people skills\u2014and lasting friendships.<\/p>\n

Through hands-on civic engagement, we support the welfare of Foxboro and its residents by leading constructive projects that make a real difference.<\/p>\n

As a Jaycee, you\u2019ll:  Build lifelong friendships.  <\/span>Develop leadership and project management skills.  <\/span>Give back to the community.  And — <\/span>Have fun while making an impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation is flexible, with no minimum time commitment\u2014the more you\u2019re involved, the more you\u2019ll gain. And you don\u2019t need to live in Foxboro to join; about half of our members come from surrounding communities.<\/p>\n

Who We Are:<\/strong>
Active in the Foxboro community since 1961, we are a dynamic, volunteer-driven organization committed to enhancing quality of life through meaningful community development projects. We foster personal growth, build lasting friendships, and develop leadership skills while serving the town we call home.<\/p>\n

Through organized civic service, we promote the welfare of Foxboro and its residents by leading constructive, impactful initiatives. Our members build friendships, gain management and people skills, grow as leaders, and make a positive difference\u2014while enjoying the experience along the way.<\/p>\n

What We Offer:<\/strong>
Members have opportunities to explore new interests, build skills, and take on leadership roles through chapter projects. Whether you want to volunteer, lead a project, develop public speaking and project management skills, bring a new community idea to life, or serve on the Chapter Board of Directors, the Foxboro Jaycees provide a supportive environment to learn, grow, and challenge yourself.<\/p>\n

Community Development:<\/strong>
The Foxboro Jaycees lead and support numerous community initiatives, including Community Night Out Against Crime & Drugs; The Stakes Are High: Taking Aim at the Opioid Crisis<\/em>; Salt for Seniors; Foxboro Common Town Sign Repair; Veterans Thanksgiving Outreach; Memorial Day Activities; Fruit Basket Assembly for the Discretionary Fund; Free Summer Concerts on the Common; Easter Egg Hunt; Candidates Night; Scholarships; and Decorating the Common for Christmas. … and FAR more.<\/p>\n

Making a BIG difference<\/strong>
\nWe built and continue to refurbish the Foxboro Common Bandstand, led the effort to build the Bill Hyland Memorial Rink, and coordinated the construction of the Payson Road Playground\u2014among many other projects.  We rebuilt the FOXBOROUGH sign.  We rededicated the bandstand we built in 1972. We place the crosses on the common fencing each Memorial Day.  We worked with the Fire Dept. back in 1995 to place the policeman\u2019s memorial. In 2016, we raised money for the new flag pole by selling Foxboro Notecards!  <\/p>\n

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT:<\/strong>
The Foxboro Jaycees offer a wide range of social and enrichment opportunities, including sporting event outings, an active book club, trivia nights, card games, progressive dinners, Yankee swaps, and more.<\/p>\n

AND — The Foxboro Jaycees are now accepting “Teen Associate Members!” Anyone 13-17 is eligible to join and will transition to “regular” member when they turn 18.<\/p>\n

Jaycees are world wide. <\/strong> The Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) are a group of young adults who come together to grow as leaders while giving back to their communities. Our mission is simple: build leadership skills through hands-on community service.<\/p>\n

What makes the Jaycees different is our focus on personal growth. Along with service projects and social events, members get real chances to learn by doing. Leading local projects helps members build skills like organization, teamwork, time management, public relations, and motivating others. The Jaycees also offer training programs to support that growth. And even if a project doesn\u2019t go exactly as planned, it\u2019s still a win if you learn something along the way.<\/p>\n

Everything starts at the local chapter level, serving one or more communities. From there, members are connected to their state organization, the U.S. Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International\u2014linking them to a worldwide network of young leaders making a difference. <\/p>\n
