Our friend Mark Emery, formerly of Foxboro, passed away August 7, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 13,1954 in Boston MA to the late Alonzo and Cecilia (O\u2019Rourke) Emery.

Mark graduated from Foxboro High School, Class of \u201972 and then went on to join the Air Force where he became a Sergeant. Once returning home he went on to receive his Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University. Mark\u2019s career included working for Raytheon where he retired after 26 years of service.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark married the love of his life, Sandy and together they built their home in Foxboro raising their two children Aimee and Nate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark was a member of American Legion Post 93; was an active member of St Marks Church where he served on the vestry; was a life member of the Foxboro Jaycees; was on the Foxboro Founders Day Committee running the field events for over 10 years and he also played on the Foxboro Cribbage League for over 30 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once retired, Mark and Sandy traveled the country for several years before settling in Florida. Mark continued his community support there as well. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Oceans Eight Condominium Association and was an active member of the Social Committee. He loved playing games including trivia, word games and puzzles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was a fun loving, kind, gentle man, but most of all he loved the time he spent with family, grandchildren and the community of friends he gathered throughout the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark is survived by his wife Sandy (Parylo) of Daytona Beach Shores, FL his son Nate and his wife Catherine of Foxboro, MA, his daughter Aimee Emery-Nicolau and her husband Tim of Ormond Beach, FL. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Ava Brown, Lana Brown and Jack Emery; his sister Anne Coarr and her 4 children, and numerous friends he made along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his own selfless way Mark was able to give the gift of sight and healing through cornea and tissue donation. Marks legacy of love endures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relatives and friends re kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday October 1, 2026 from 4-7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street Foxboro, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 2, 2026 at 10 AM at St Marks Church, 116 South Street, Foxboro, MA.
